Contact tags and org variables

Tags make it easier to organize and filter your contacts. You can use them to group patients by status, campaign, or any custom category relevant to your operations.

To create or edit tags:

  1. On the sidebar menu, go to Communications > Contacts.
  2. At the top-right corner, click Settings.
  3. In the Organization Tags window, you can:
    • Create a new tag: Enter a label or name and an optional description. Then click Create Tag.
    • Edit or delete an existing tag: Under Current Tags, hover over a tag to reveal the Edit (pencil) and Delete (trash) icons.
  4. Click Close when done.

Org variables

Org variables are used for your lead data collection. When you create workflows that involve collecting the data of leads, you can add custom org variables to collect specific information to contacts.

To create org variables, follow these steps:

  1. On the sidebar menu, go to Communications > Contacts.
  2. At the top-right corner, click Settings > Org Variables.
  3. On the Organization Custom Variables window, click Add Variable.
  4. On the Create New Org Variable form, fill out the required information:
    • Label
    • Key
    • Field Type
    • Validation Pattern (optional)
    • Default Value (optional)
  5. Click Create Variable to finish.
